Calvinism
NOTE: This site IS NOT taking sides on this issue. This site is trying to look at the whole picture according to scripture. If you disagree with any article let me know and tell me why by using scripture in context. These are articles that people have given me on this topic. This site’s main goal is to search for truth. I disagree with Calvinism on some points and also with Arminianism on some points. In writing this I AM NOT denying God’s sovereignty in any form or fashion. In studying any topic one must look at ALL scriptures as a whole. If you think I am wrong, with scripture alone show me. “Calvinism” in the Bible is written in a pre-70AD pint of view. I would like to ask a couple of questions:
1.) Did the events of 70ad, the Second Coming, Judgment, Resurrection, Passing of the Law, the Kingdom affect everyone or only a certain group of people?
2.) Romans 8-11, how did the readers of the first century understand it? Are there "Jews" and "Gentiles" today?
3.) Who are the "elect" in Matthew 24:30? Does this have double fulfillment? If you say, "Yes", then what else in the Bible has a double fulfillment? If the “elect” were literally taken (caught up), who taught the non-elect that were “left behind”?
Facts About God's Creation
The Government gives millions and millions to the Public School system and every study that comes out shows that the Public School system is failing. We (Christians) send our children to an ungodly place with ungodly people. All you have to do is to listen to the news to see how the schools are working. The Bible says parents , not teachers, Youth Ministers, or the "church" or any other person, should train their children. I was in worship service one Sunday and one of the "elders" got up before the congregation and told us that it takes "the church" to raise a child. How wrong this is. It doesn't take the "church" or a village (this is what Hillary Clinton believes) to raise a child. It takes PARENTS with a commitment to God to raise a child. This is in ALL areas of life and school is part of that life. Parents, get involved into your child's education and life.
Having a Healthy Body: What Does The Bible Say About Health?
In some of the below articles, we teach as truth when the Bible teaches something different. In the Preterit camp, we are so into "what does the Bible say"? We must be consistent in our belief in everything, not just Preterism. I am not claiming to have all the answers on everything. I am more than willing to change if I am wrong. Are you willing to do the same?
